Registration is now open

Take advantage of our early-bird offer and register as a participant before April 15 for only 2 000 SEK. The fee for speakers is 1 700 SEK through out the entire registration period. Last day to register is May 20. The fee includes access to the scientific program, coffee and refreshments, welcome reception on Monday June 14 as well as the award ceremony and symposium dinner at Stockholm City Hall on the evening of June 15.

Abstract submission
2009-12-07
Participants are now invited to submit abstracts or suggest full panels for the 2010 Stockholm Criminology Symposium. The two major themes are Improving Policing and Contemporary Criminology. We must receive your abstract no later than April 26, 2010.

Nominations for the Stockholm Prize in Criminology 2011 are now accepted
2009-10-23
The nomination period for the 2011 award is now open. The prize is awarded to one recipient annually, with the possibility of the prize being shared among co-recipients. The prize amounts to at least 1,000,000 SEK.

The summary of the 2009 Symposium now available
2009-10-13The 2009 Symposium presented more than 60 sessions within the themes When Mankind is the Victim, Counteracting Organised Crime and Contemporary Criminology. A magazine summarizing a variety of these sessions will be distributed to all participants during November. It is also available to download on our website.

One of the themes for 2010 will focus on Policing and will feature a broad selection of innovative approaches and police methods, as well as research findings from different parts of the world. New venue for 2010
2009-10-12The 2010 Stockholm Criminology Symposium has moved to a new location in the heart of Stockholm. The three day long event will be held at City Conference Center (Norra Latin) in a building dating back to 1890, originally used as a secondary school. You will be within walking distance of the Symposium conference hotels and also of buses and airport shuttles.
