Prize winners
The winner of the 2010 Stockholm Prize in Criminology is David L. Weisburd of Hebrew University, Israel and George Mason University, USA.
The prize is awarded by its international jury to Professor Weisburd for a series of experiments showing that intensified police patrol at high crime "hot spots" does not merely push crime around.
The prize will be presented to Professor Weisburd in a ceremony at Stockholm City Hall on June 15, 2010.
